Starting poultry farming again, I would avoid costly mistakes by planning properly before investing. Many farmers rush into production without understanding markets, costs, and management needs. Careful preparation creates success.
I would focus more on record keeping because proper data helps identify problems early and improve farm decisions. Abak farms Ent. would prioritize accurate records for better growth and profits.
I would never ignore biosecurity measures since disease outbreaks can destroy poultry businesses quickly. Strong hygiene routines, vaccination plans and monitoring systems protect birds and maintain healthy farm daily operations.
Another lesson is choosing quality chicks and reliable suppliers instead of focusing only on low prices. Good breeds and trusted sources reduce losses while increasing productivity and long-term business stability.
Finally, I would invest more in knowledge and mentorship because poultry farming requires patience, skills and commitment. Continuous learning helps farmers avoid errors and achieve sustainable long term success today.
Yours sincerely,
Abdullah
