Survival skills are essential for every farmer because agriculture rarely follows a perfect plan. Challenges test patience, courage, adaptability, and resourcefulness, revealing strengths that comfort often hides. Preparedness always matters.

From childhood, boarding school taught me independence. At Federal Government College Ogbomosho, I struggled with unfamiliar solid foods, but provisions helped me adapt until my eating habits changed. Adaptability grows.

University life strengthened resilience. Queuing for buses at Mancot and navigating demanding routines taught me persistence. Those experiences prepared me for greater responsibilities beyond familiar surroundings and opportunities. Resilience matters.

Starting my commercial farm in Badeku became my toughest test. I moved into a remote area with infrastructure and slept within thick forest before affording helping hands. Courage creates possibilities.

Today, every time I leave my comfort zone, survival skills help me adapt, solve problems, and continue moving forward. Farming has made me stronger, wiser, and better prepared. Keep adapting.
