Micronutrients may be required in tiny quantities, yet they profoundly influence animal growth, immunity, metabolism, reproduction, and productivity. Small amounts can make a major difference every day. Good nutrition matters.
Micronutrients, also called trace elements, are essential nutrients needed in small amounts for normal body functions. Examples include iron, copper, zinc, manganese, iodine, selenium, cobalt, and chromium. Every element counts.
They support rapid growth and development, strengthen immune responses, assist antioxidant protection, and help enzymes drive vital chemical reactions throughout the animal body. Balanced minerals support healthier animals and performance.
Just as salt, spices, and seasonings enhance human meals, micronutrients complement animal diets by supporting essential biological processes. However, formulation matters because deficiencies and excesses cause problems. Balance remains essential.
Successful animal production requires not only adequate feed quantity but also nutrient quality. Providing balanced micronutrients supports healthier animals, better productivity, and stronger farm profitability. Feed wisely, manage carefully, sustainably.
