Strong immunity is the foundation of healthy, productive ruminants. Nutrition, minerals, vitamins, hygiene, and sound management help animals resist challenges and perform better consistently daily. Good nutrition supports strong immunity.
Young animals depend on good nutrition and maternal milk for essential nutrients and immune protection. Colostrum is especially important because it supplies antibodies needed early. Early protection matters.
Fruits and vegetables provide vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, and other nutrients that support normal immune function. However, they should complement balanced diets, not replace them appropriately. Balanced nutrition supports immunity.
Salt and mineral blocks can supply essential minerals when correctly formulated and used. Deficiencies may weaken immunity, growth, reproduction, and overall animal performance significantly overall. Mineral balance matters greatly.
Extensively raised animals may consume diverse plants, but this does not guarantee disease resistance. Good nutrition, vaccination, parasite control, sanitation, and biosecurity remain essential consistently. Natural feeding alone is insufficient.
Therefore, immune support requires balanced feeding, appropriate mineral supplementation, clean water, vaccination, and professional guidance. Strong immunity supports healthier animals, fewer losses, and better returns. Healthy animals deliver better profits.
